The popular Wallsend Festival returns with a free and fun-packed programme.

Now in its 24th year, the community event will take place in Wallsend town centre on Saturday 5 July, between 10am and 5pm.

There will be fairground rides (High Street East and Coronation Street car park), children's character walkabouts, information stalls and demonstrations. 

Enjoy live music performances at the bandstand throughout the day and in the car park of Segedunum Roman Fort who are offering free entry all day!
